Notícias de uma Guerra Particular (1999)

Considered one of the best contemporary Brazilian documentaries, this film offers a chilling portrayal of violence in Rio de Janeiro. The film depicts the daily life of a Favela that has been taken over by the drug war. It offers sharp interviews with several individuals involved in the conflict including security specialists, policemen, drug dealers, and shantytown dwellers who are trapped in the crossfire of a war that knows no winners. 你杀过警察吗？没有，我还没有机会。你怕死吗？不怕，谁都得死。我累了。
